Collection: Kimberley Collection
Kate’s Kimberley Collection was born from an unforgettable journey through Australia’s North — a trip taken with her husband and a group of close friends that left a lasting impression on all who were there.
The Kimberley has a way of stopping you in your tracks. Its ancient landscapes stretch endlessly in every direction, painted in colours that feel almost impossible — deep burnt ochres, rich terracotta reds, vivid dusty golds, and the kind of blue sky that seems to go on forever. For anyone who has had the privilege of visiting, you’ll know that the Kimberley doesn’t just impress; it overwhelms the senses in the most breathtaking way.
It was this experience — this feeling of being immersed in something so vast and so vivid — that Kate carried home with her and poured directly into her resin work.
Each piece in the Kimberley Collection is Kate’s interpretation of those colours and landscapes; the way the red earth meets the horizon, the warm glow of a WA sunset, the raw, rugged beauty of the rock formations that have stood for millennia. Working in resin allowed Kate to capture that luminosity and depth, with layers of colour that shift and shimmer just as the landscape does in changing light.
Kate hopes that when you look at these pieces, you see what she saw — and feel, even just for a moment, the magic of that incredible part of the world.
